Subaru Forester 2014 Review

Although the Subaru Forester 2014 looks same on the outside yet insider and all other portions are improved. Particularly the area underneath the hood of this SUV is significantly changed with better look. This new aggressive look oriented SUV from Subaru will go on sale in April 2013. Subaru has the tendency of making a same interior with slight changes over and over again. But Subaru Forester has challenged this opinion of people in 2014 edition and displays a better

interior than before. The design of dashboard is simple having silver plastic pieces on it. Gauges are laid out and for the standard stereo, climate control there are large knobs and buttons. Dashboard is also made softer than before. Seats are very good and comfortable. Most of the drivers and passengers will surely appreciate the seats. The space for cargo in Subaru Forester is one of the best options given in this SUV. After folding the rear seats the maximum cargo area is 74.7 cubic feet which is big.

The engine of Subaru Forester 2014 is very powerful and has 170-Horsepower Four-Cylinder teamed to a continuously variable automatic transmission. Only Honda CR-V with 185 HP, Ford Escape with 173 HP, Toyota RAV4 with 176 HP and Mazda's CX-5 with 155 HP are the good competitors of Subaru Forester on the basis of horsepower. When on highway with high-speed and acceleration, most of the SUVs have the high level of noise. But Forester 2014 edition has overcome this fault. One of the spokespersons of Subaru said that this Forester is the most silent SUV ever made by Subaru.

Standard four-wheel drive has given this SUV an advantage over the competition. Obviously, four-wheel drive affects the fuel efficiency but Subaru also managed this fault by giving remarkable 2.5-litters efficiency. Subaru Forester is rated 27 mpg city/highway combined. Only Mazda's CX-5 outshines with 29 mpg city/highway combined. Forester also gets the speed from 0 to 60 mph in just 6 seconds which is same as Porsche Cayenne.

The basic Subaru Forester 2.5i price is $22,820 that includes $825 of destination charge. The price becomes $23,820 when include additional CVT of $1,000. In this price Foresters shines with many features like Bluetooth, USB input, Four Stereo System and Streaming Audio. This price makes 2014 Forester more efficient than Honda CR-V.

Talking about the safety, this SUV has not been tested by the federal government for Highway Safety still. The Insurance Institute has also not tasted Forester yet. But it seems capable, reliable and efficient to the potential buyers and market.
