In recent years, the volume of road accidents including heavy-duty trucks is significantly higher. We don't make reference to heavy-duty trucks as those little pick-up trucks but those scary 18-wheelers. Though the reasons for the accidents occurring vary, quite often they are caused by the truck drivers. Ironically, regardless if those drivers are responsible, they usually escape from those kinds of accidents unscathed because of the robust construction of the truck.
